Parker's Rosewood Wood Handle Professional Barber Straight Razor (SRRW) - New for 2019

I have been struggling with a very expensive, top of the range cut throat razor. I just keep cutting my face to ribbons but I am determined to master the art of bare blade razor shaving. As a last ditch effort I decided to try a shavette version to see if I can practice without cutting my face so badly.I was amazed to find this £20 shavette and razor blades gave me a perfect shave. It’s well made, comfortable to hold, blades are easy to load (with care naturally) and it’s a good price.Highly recommended.

Wooden finish was not as expected..

Good shavette: it is solid and, I hope, durable; good weight and balance.Given the price, towards the top end for a shavette, I would have expected the scales to be a bit more substantial.

Good weight to the razor, little bit tricky to get used to, not the products fault more a case of learning how to use it!
