Warning to non-Japanese speaking buyers!
This is a Japanese made product, meaning that all instructions, the manual and all labels on the appliance are (only) in Japanese. I contacted the seller about the problem - that I paid $350 for an appliance and no ability to read the manual/instructions. First they told me to look on the internet/you tube. There is some info out there, but it's time consuming to find and at the end of the day, not very helpful. After several additional contacts, they provided me with a weird mock-up of some parts of the manual with some English translations. I've asked for more information on product care, cleaning instructions, etc. I gave only 3 stars because of my frustration on getting information that I can read, but the product itself is 5-star. I really love the steam, the cool mist, and the various cycles. I just want to understand all the information provided by the manufacturer, including access to an English speaking customer service line in case I have questions or problems in the future. Paying $350 for an appliance is an investment, and currently this seller cannot adequately support non-Japanese speaking buyers.
