Holds well and that's pretty important, but it does a really neat trick. It stays black (the color I chose) in daylight, but at night in headlights it shines brightly. Amazing. Very clever. We now put these on all our ebikes (we have many) and this black color lets me disguise the stickers against a black rim so that they do not show at all in normal conditions. Only when a light strikes them. Then they jump out as bright white and make the bike extremely visible. Highly Recommend for Safety - and it can be done without changing the normal appearance of the ebike.

Great upgrade for my Talaria XXX. Great value for the money! Stickers are curved for easy application, almost invisible during the day while being incredibly reflective during nighttime. Color matches description 100%. Even came with extra rim stickers in case I messed up. Also came with some star and dot reflective stickers to add to your vehicle or helmet.

Was trying to accomplish 2 things on my Triumph newchurch... I wanted to remove the ugly orange relector plate while still maintain some sort of reflective safety, and to hide the 'red line' on the rim without resorting to any permanent solution. These black reflective strips accomplished both of my requirements and it was a super simple solution and install. These also offer much more reflectivity than the plates, which also are not install on the back side section. Only the front of my newchurch. They may seem a little pricey, but they are great quality, and easy to put on. I seen some people take their wheels off to place the stickers on. Its not necessary. I was able to get 3 sides installed alone and the front left side wheel I only needed someone to hold the bike up for a few minutes. Even better if you have a center kick stand (which I dont). Then you would be able to do all yourself only having to reposition the bike slightly to remove things such as the chain or brakes that might be in your way. Just make sure to order the right size for you rims and follow the directions and clean surface with alcohol before applying. The stickers themselves are forgiving. I peeled a section of one or 2 off to reposition and it didnt ruin anything. They are very flexible. Highly recommend.

I was apprehensive of the finicky process of aligning thin strips to the curved rim, but these reflectors are sized/curved perfectly, as described in the seller's listing/sizing information, and turned out easy to install, with the clear instructions and tips included. Slight, noticable end-misalignments happened on the first rim (pictured) when I didn't exactly follow the instructions, so I'll chalk that up to user error, no fault of the product or its designers! I got the dark black, and even knowing it would reflect dimmer than a brightly colored stripe, I'm pleased with the added visibility and aesthetic notes. When not illuminated, they're practically invisible, which is exactly what I was hoping the daytime look would be. I feel pretty confident in the adhesion of the stripes on clean rims, but I'll update the review if/when I encounter adhesive failure(s). Hoping the two strips that were left over as spares are never needed, as I think they're probably best suited for an immediate redo on installation goofs, not patching an existing stripe, but they're still an appreciated inclusion, as were the decorative circle and star stickers that fill out the rest of the empty space on the backing sheet.

This brand makes a great product, have purchased multiple other sets and colors and love the product. All 5 star quality. I was slightly disappointed in the quality of this specific black reflective. I understand its a dark color, but their other colors are way better quality material and super bright. Also not as durable as the other colors with wear and tear. It's still a good product but I would recommend another color if possible if for visibility reasons. Gives a silver look at night and black during the day. Easy to apply and fits well.

Nice and reflective. I got the black so you can’t really tell it’s on my tires in the daylight, but at night when the light hits it, it’s reflective.

Ordered CustomTaylor33 reflective rim tape after recommendation from a fellow e-bike rider. Simple installation on my e-bike rims. Laying bike on side so tires turned freely made installation easy. Tape is quality (thick and durable), looks good on rim and provides the safety reflection I wanted for my bike. Great product- easy to install once I stopped trying to make it perfect! Hardly noticeable until the light hits the rims - just how I wanted it. Probably not common on a Harley but safety first, too many riders getting hit. Love the extra strips and dots/stars for my helmet. Definitely recommend!

Almost invisible without direct light and quite bright for what they are when lit with the torch/flashlight! Exactly as expected.

Just like trim, they reflect as thou they were charged with power cells, be seen!!! Great product

Take a look at the closeup, can’t see it! But with some light reflecting it’s a bit of a mind f^c&. It’s so cool to see black reflective tape shine white. Super high intensity. I’ve had a custom 1/8” strip of his red reflective tape on my 17” wheels and they’ve held solid without any damage for a few years using Adam’s Tire and Wheel cleaner! Super wicked not-crappy high quality reflective tape. I will buy this stuff every time for cool effect but most importantly for safety. I’ve also bought custom work and will never buy elsewhere.
