KitchenAid Nespresso Maker, One Size, Candy Apple

Great machine, this replaced my espresso machine, makes great espresso for lattes and looks greatin my kitchen. Would def buy it again.

Works well so far. I like the color. A bit large so you need a lot of counter space. The water volume dial is a bit flimsy. I expect that if it was changed frequently it would break.

It is gorgeous, and it makes great Nespresso coffee! What could be better! I love it!

I purchased this unit from another seller, because at the time it was a lower price, but it appears Amazon has now lowered theirs even more. I recently became an instant fan of Nespresso after a hotel stay where they had a unit in the room, but since I already have a candy apple red KA stand mixer and toaster, I decided to spend the extra $$ for this unit.The machine itself is even more stunning on the counter than I had imagined. I currently have a red Keurig unit as well, and I used to think it was a handsome machine until I bought this gem!. It is also very solidly made, and it does make a fine cup of Nespresso, but I am knocking one star off my otherwise 5-star review for the following reasons:1) Lack of "cool" lighting. Various Keurig units I have owned (for much less $$) have incorporated a light under the water reservoir so you can easily see the water level. For the price of this KA piece I would think they could have at least incorporated a similar light under the water tank, but also another light to help illuminate the spent pod container, as the skinny window is pretty much useless to see how full the container is.2) Lack of cord storage. For whatever reason, KA uses rather substantial black cords for their machines, and lining up my stand mixer, toaster and Nespresso machine results in a rather unsightly tangle of long cords. The toaster does have the means to coil the cord around the underside of the base, but one wrap still leaves a way-too-long cord, while two wraps would be too short. A minor inconvenience, but just thought I'd mention it.3) Lack of colors. I realize this is a somewhat specialized piece, so it is not practical to produce it in every color the stand mixer comes in, but we bought a "plumberry" mixer for our daughter a few years ago, and we might consider one of these machines for her as well, but only if we could get it in the same color. At least it was available in our candy apple red, because had it not been, I would have opted for a much less expensive machine.Overall very pleased with our purchase, and it is definitely the KitchenAid quality we have come to expect!

I was nervous to buy the refurbished model, but the price difference was just too good to pass up. This pot surpasses all expectations that I had! I've been making about two cups per days for about 5 weeks now. Pleased.
