Relevant Play Mad Mattr - The Ultimate Brick Maker, Blue 2oz

My boys loved the mad mattr brick makers they got in their easter baskets! They were only able to build 8-10 lego sized bricks per bag. Will likely get more of the modeling compound dor future use.Have tested out the brick maker on play doh and kinetic sand. Works ok on play dog but leaves a little mess behind on the mold. Kinetic sand also works on the mold but the mad matter dough is the easiest to clean and work with. Overall a great product just a little pricey.

I love that this product does not make a mess. I despise slime so this is a great alternative for kids who love to feel squishy things.I love that this contained a mold that my daughter could use to make bricks.However, I was disappointed in the amount of Mad matter this package actually contained. It was a minute amount for what this cost. I have purchased more for less at a local store.

My kids love this, and it is fun for them to play with. It does still make a mess, though--we found lots of little pieces of this all over, just like we do with other products. Another difficulty with the brickmaking part is that it's difficult for my kids to make the bricks exactly the same size so that they can actually build with them. Also, my kids were frustrated that they couldn't make the different sizes of bricks that were pictured on the package--really you can only make one size with the tool that comes in the package. But despite that, they still have a lot of fun with it, and it is a different type of modeling material than your typical clay or dough experience. It doesn't dry out or stick to things as much, and the brick-building is a unique idea.

i would’ve given 5 stars because my nieces & nephews (& myself) LOVE this sand AND the block builder was a huge hit. however, this pack came with such a small amount of sand that if i didn’t buy additionalbags it wouldn’t really be enough to build anything. worth it for the block builder. wish they sold just that separately.

I bought this for myself 3.5 year old and he loves it! The amazing thing about it for me is that it doesn’t dry out but for my son, he loves making bricks and stacking them. Love it and plan to get more!

We LOVE Mad Mattr in our home and the fun little brick maker is a good addition. HOWEVER, this is a VERY SMALL bag of Mattr, NOT the regular 10oz size so I am pretty disappointed it was so little Mattr (not enough to do much with) and that the cost was comparable to the large size-- you are essentially paying for just the brick maker. MadMattr itself deserves 5+++ stars, but this bundle is overpriced for what you get. My kids play with MadMattr for hours at a time (they are 4, 6 and 8 yo), but quickly got over the novelty of the maker. Save your money and spend it on the 10oz bag and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and some quiet time while your kids are entertained with this amazing dough!

This stuff is so cool! I bought a few bags of Mad Mattr for my nieces and nephew for Christmas----not only do they love it, but every adult around does, too. Seriously, buy extra. I ended up getting another bag to take to work, and when I'm stressed, or just trying to think, I sit and play with it. It NEVER dries out, it doesn't stick in carpet the way play doh does, and it doesn't really have a smell. No dyes on your hands.No, seriously: buy extra. You'll thank me .

I love playing with Mad Mattr. It is soft and fun to play with and the clean up is easy. It is a great stress reliever to compress and then cut with a sharp knife. It end up leaving a bit of blue residue on my hands and table. However, it wasn't anything too messy that a bit of soap and water couldn't clean up.

Out of all the different types of sand, this is by far my favorite. It has all the properties that I would like. What I thought was interesting was that this is different to other sands - the particles are much finer and in general the density is much lower. This results in a much smoother surface if you press against a surface. The lightness makes it feel further away from normal sand and something more foam based.I think that this is the perfect combination between soft and crumbly. This is definitely not as soft as kinetic sand but it can hold itself in a shape indefinitely. When stretched, it can also collapse like all the other similar products can.Initially, in the pack, the sand looks dry and crumbly, but when playing with it, it improves and is easy to clean up. The size of the pack is really small. I would say that it is the perfect size to have a taste of what it feels like and how it behaves, but I think that most would prefer a little more to have a good time with. In terms of the amount of bricks, I made 11 normal sized ones and one large one (as it was hard to find the right amount of sand).The brick making machine works really well and I find it something very therapeutic. I just wish I had more sand...

This brick maker has been a fab addition to the Mad Mattr we already have. Very moreish! Looks like Lego and you can build with it, then squash it!
