It knows it's on to a winning formula and wisely does little to disrupt it. That's not to say there aren't genuine improvements. For starters, the oft-criticised lethargic speed of the original has been speeded up and the improved user interface makes the game even simpler to use. Furthermore, there are over 1000 new questions to keep you taxed (although younger players may still be better off opting for its sister title, Who Wants To be a Millionaire--Junior Edition ( /exec/obidos/ASIN/B00005LOUI/%24%7B0%7D )). But essentially this is still the same game, with the same flaws and assets it had first time around. The questions loop around too quickly, for instance, yet the look and feel of the game still perfectly capture the essence of the TV show. Oh, and they still don't give you any real money at the end of it. All this adds up to make Who Wants To be a Millionaire 2 a reliable, entertaining game, ideal fodder for the family although hardly likely to satiate the cutting-edge gamer.
