Excellent knife for a good price
Razer sharp from the box, nice weight and use. Lacks the indents found in other santoku knives to prevent sticking, but this does not diminish the enjoyment of use. A bargain next to the equivalent Wüsthof or similar.

No Made-in-Germany Quality, just cheap Chinese Junk
I am really disappointed in Zwilling. The knife they extruded from some non-distinct Chinese mass-production factory and then slapped their name on it without any attempt at QC is unfortunately pure rubbish. Cheap, many corners cut, humiliatingly dull out of the box. Even worse though, the blade is warped and bent along its whole length to such a degree which I have never seen before. I have had less than £10.00 knives (Rockingham Forge Series 8000) with much higher quality and finish than this abomination. At the same price Mercer delivers a knife worth three times more than this piece of "German" garbage. Even the numerous Chinese knives found here on Amazon give Zwilling more than a good run for the money, usually at half the price. And allegedly Zwilling is the higher end brand of the J.A. Henckels family. They may have been around for more than 200 years by now but their knife-smithing forbearers would be turning in their graves if they could see what has become of this once great brand.Zero stars if I could. Stay well clear. What a shame!
