The cable is black with white printing on it, and the white letters rub off very easily. Just using my fingers with a bit of pressure, the printing started to come off in tiny particles. This is supposed to be used inside a water line, and the idea that this stuff could end up inside my family’s drinking water really bothers me. I honestly don’t feel safe using it for a line my kids will be drinking from.

Ran this through an actual pipe which should cut down on the damage. Durability of the coating seems a bit heavier than some of the off the shelf options I have used in the past. As always make sure you use the full run and don't have trace crossed. The immersion should help immensely with heat dissipation. Pretty easy to install as long as you have either a straight run or joints at strategic spots. Price point is a touch on the high end but not by much. If the quality shows by making it through two winters will update and it will be worth it. Fittings are water tight but note I have a semi open end install with minimal positive pressure so not sure of a pressurized system. Integrated GFCI is nice and important. Lets leave the details of the story to you all about a mulch fire and a palm tree that didn't make it through the winter.

I bought this because the pictures clearly show a T-fitting included, but there wasn’t one in the box. Now I’m just stuck — I can’t install it at all.
